Ban aaftaab subha jaga eid hans pade
Baton men uski sirf mohabbat se hai gurez
Samjhe jo hum ki kya hai ye tamheed, hans pade
Mere suroore wasl se hai aasman pe kaif
Zohra kabhi hanse kabhi naheed hans pade
Tehraye rasme ishq ko jaiz wo yun Irfan
Uske har aik lufz pe taeed hans pade
