dil men ajab khalish hai jo wo mehraban hai ab

Irfaane zaat apna mujhe us ne de diya
Idrrak ki hadon pe yaqeenan ayan hai ab

wo muskara diye hain to kaliya chitak gain
charon taraf bahaar ka rangeen saman hai ab

Baarish hai rehmaton ki wo hai sarbasar wafa
dil bhi hawai khuld se jannat nishan hai ab

sakit fazain hoti thin jab bolta tha wo
kya aisa ho gaya ki wahi bezaban hai ab

sairaab mujhko karne lagi hai nigahe lutf
maujen subuk hain jiski wo dariya rawan hai ab

aaya wo usne ishq ke sab haq ada kiye
mere labon pe sirf yahi daastan hai ab

uski rifaqato ne bade gul khilaye hain
hum nazishe chaman hain ye humko guman hai ab

rahe wafa men aati hain aisi bhi manzilen
mere kamale shauq ka wo tarjuman hai ab

wo sholaru kahin hai use sochta hoon main
dil jal raha hai saari tamazat yahan hai ab

iske liye to lufz nahin hain main kya kahun
dushman tha jaan ka jo wahi pewaste jaan hai ab

wo gulsarisht ishq men betaab hai bahot
"saile bahaar aankhon se meri rawan hai ab"

usko dekh ke arman machal gaye
chehre pe uske koi iraada jawan hai ab
