Jaw Exercises - Learning English

A practice routine that every Voice and Accent trainer recommends, this is a good warm-up exercise, which when followed on a regular basis can help you loosen your jaws and ease muscular movement. These are somethings I learnt in my call centre days and indeed they have always been a great help and must I say that they are great Jaw exercises, these are from the book of Cicely Berry.
However for you to learn and practice these properly it is mandatory that you read these with full enthusiasm and regardless read them aloud and try your best to make them loud but not disturbing.

Aisa koi zindagi se vaadaa to nahin tha
Ho aisa koi zindagi se vaadaa to nahin tha
Aisa koi zindagi se vaadaa to nahin tha
Tere bina jeene ka iraada to nahin tha -2
Aisa koi zindagi se vaadaa to nahin tha
Ho aisa koi zindagi se vaadaa to nahin tha

Hey tere liye raaton mein chaandhni ugaayi thi

Kyariyon mein khushboo ki roshni lagayi thi
Jaane kahan tooti hai dor mere khwaab ki -2
Khwaab se jaagenge socha to nahin tha, socha to nahin tha
Aisa koi zindagi se vaadaa to nahin tha
Ho aisa koi zindagi se vaadaa to nahin tha

Hey shaamiyaane shaamon ke roz hi sajaaye the
Shaamiyaane shaamon ke roz hi sajaaye the
Kitni ummeedoon ke mehmaan bulaaye the
Aake darwaaze se laut gaye ho -2
Yun bhi koi aayega socha to nahin tha, socha to nahin tha
Aisa koi zindagi se vaadaa to nahin tha

THE STRANGER--By Mohsin Wala aka Jim Charsi

THE STRANGER--By Mohsin Wala aka Jim Charsi

The stranger - triology

( i )

the silent whispers of the ghosts that do not exist
stir me from my sleep
how is it that the gentle caress of slumber
kisseth not these dreams away

words. they befoul my soul

i have vowed not to speak to you anymore
you can not converse in two languages
pardon me if i have forgotten yours
what is there in names anyway

i can call you my murderer too

so mesmerised by the division
i forgot what it divided
the line grew larger with each step
and finally engulfed me

there was no darkness before there was light

a shadow creeps slowly to the door
the room is empty as it peeks in
there is someone following it
it turns to see its master right behind

only slaves cry for freedom and sometimes

i looked hard at the reflected face
and recognized the stranger
the dim light was not enough
though it wasn't the first time

there was no way that i could have greeteed him

have i known you before
have i seen …

Maeklong Railway Market Marketplace With a Railway Track Through it

Maeklong Railway Market Marketplace With a Railway Track Through it
Maeklong Railway Market, located in Samut Songkhram, Thailand, around 37 miles west of Bangkok, looks like any other open-air market in Asia. There are tropical fruits and vegetables such as lychee, durian, and mango in big brightly colored piles, variety of dried spices, pastes and herbs, freshly caught seafood and other local foods. The crowd weave their way around in between vendors, picking up whatever they need for the day. The market is sheltered by low-hanging awnings/umbrellas and if you look closely, you will notice that you are actually walking on train rails. Then a piercing siren sounds and in a flash the market transforms - the shoppers disappear and the stallholders whip away their produce. One moment you see the locals shopping for their vegetables and the next moment the vendors will scoop up their baskets and boxes and anything that lies over the track. The market comes to a standstill as all the vend…
